Hi all, would appreciate first hand recommendations for a transfer service from GVA to Les Carroz. "Go Massif" keeps coming up in my searches so far but I'd appreciate to get other options as well.
Key point is that we'll have an 18-month-old with us so we do need the service to be very reliable and accommodating (otherwise I'd have gone for the cheapest option and just hope for the best).

@chenav, if you want it to be reliable and accommodating then Go Massif are just the right people. I have no link to them, just impressed with the service, and also the feedback from everyone else that uses them.

Usually Go Massif are the go to transfer company for Le Grand Massif, however if real personal service and professionalism with no worries about cost then try https://www.genevaairporttransfers.com owned, run and driven by husband and wife team Marian and Mick brothers, lovely couple and really really safe/cautious drivers.

@sj1608, thanks. Did you personally use them? Was it the private service or "shared plus"?
I wonder if it's possible to arrange for a short (30 min?) stop at a supermarket along the way to stock up, if we're taking a fully private service.

@chenav, Yes, I have personally used them and use shared plus. I'm pretty sure that if it was private service they'd be happy to incorporate a supermarket stop, but why not contact them and ask.
You might want to use private going to resort and then shared plus on the way back, to save costs.
Also, there is a very well-stocked and well-priced Carrefour in Les Carroz, along with a Casino, and then a Spar just below Carroz. Depending on where you are staying, you may well be within walking distance of one or more of those, so the supermarket shop may not be necessary. Which accom have you booked?

We're staying at the Pierre & Vacances Les Fermes du Soleil. Problem is, we only land at 16:45 so I wouldn't 100% count on us getting to the resort in time before supermarkets close, and at the very least we'll need supplies for the evening and next morning, even if we do make the bulk of the shopping on the next day at the resort.

@chenav, you are maximum 100m from the Carrefour (depending on which block you are in), so next morning is sorted as Carrefour opens at 7am. You could always go for takeaway pizza on arriva day (again within 100-200m walking distance).
What dates are you coming?

I found ski-lifts.com, transfert-lescarroz.com and summittransfers.com to be a bit cheaper (10-15%) - anyone has good/bad things to say about any of them?
@sj1608, good tips, thank you. Carrefour might open at 7am but my daughter opens at 6am so we still have that bit to sort out.  We arrive on March 19.

@chenav, I think the chances are that you would be there before 8pm when Carrefour close, so might be worth just packing a few supplies to cover 6am - 7am in case you don't make it!!

Thanks @sj1608, will keep that in mind. For future reference though, I checked now and the opening hours of the Carrefour Montagne at Les Carroz are 7.30am-8pm.
Anyway, back to the original question, if anyone has any good/bad experience with either www.ski-lifts.com, www.transfert-lescarroz.com or www.summittransfers.com I'd be happy to hear!

I have used Go Massif for private transfers twice and they are great. Our flight was cancelled with the snow in March last year and then delayed when we finally left the UK landing very late in Geneva the following day. GM were absolutely fab with no hassles about receiving us later than planned. They charge €15 per 30 minute waiting if you do want to do a “smash and grab” supermarket run. We had planned to do this on the way stopping in Cluses but with all the delays our lovely chalet caretaker did a local shop in Samoen for us. We previously used GM when we went to Carroz and pre-arranged a Carrefour Drive click and collect shop. We arranged for the GM driver to stop there free of charge as it was just a matter of collecting the shop.

Actually ended up on Action Transfers to Flaine on Saturday, good driver, no problems.... TBH I've not noticed much difference between the companies I've used...

@chenav, when I was in Carrefour this morning I asked about delivery. They would be willing to do a delivery to Fermes du Soleil to await your arrival. If you're interested, I have contact details, etc.

Just an update that I received an email from genevaairporttransfers.com: "We would like to inform you that we are retiring on the 01st April 2019. The business will be taken over by Craig & Emily Peters who will, in our opinion, operate in the same manner as we have done for the past fourteen years. Their approach to the business is very much the same as ours has been. They will continue with the same drivers and some of you will already know them."

Go Massif excellent in January. Booked shared, had a share out, just us back. Defo would go to them again.
