Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all,
A small group of us are looking to book private transfers from Grenoble airport to Alpe D’Hurz and back early March.
First time there so have no local knowledge but I found MV Transport on the resort homepage.
Has anyone used them or have any experiences good or bad ?
Cheers

No knowledge of MV Transport but their homepage mentions they are a Chambery based company.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi all,
We're just back from Alpe d'Huez so I thought I'd leave an update on MV Transport who we did end up using but I could find very little about beforehand.
It turned out they are part of the 'Madame Vacances' group which by coincidence was the same as our hotel and where the English speaking driver lived.
Anyway, all was good and the driver was waiting for us in the arrivals hall when we landed and got us back to the airport on time when leaving. The minibus was new(ish) and they were a good bit cheaper than any other quote I had.
I can only speak as we found but they were very good and I'd happily use them again.
Cheers.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Hi, we stayed at the Madame Vacances - Hôtel Le Christina.
The location could not be any better just off the piste by the main DMC lift.
But.... check first but I'm 99% sure this is its last season as it makes way for more lucrative luxury apartments, which will be a real shame.
