Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

skiing in USA cheap as chips

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
found this site on facebook page & thought I'd make everyone aware of how cheap it is to ski in Colorado USA.

Am from Australia & as no longer working, partly due to covid 19, we try to ski as much as possible on a very tight budget.

We've found after much research, that online is not the way to go.

Have discovered if you book a package of accommodation & lift tickets, that both components work out much cheaper.

Plus, there are ski specialists who get blocks of seats from the airlines at prices much lower than anything online. As a snow travel consultant told us, what you see online, is what is left after package tour operators get seats they require.

For example, just had an email saying au$999 return from Australian east coast to usa west coast in peak season, late December 2021 & early January 2022 departures. At this time of year, would expect to pay au$2000 or more.

Staying on snow in major Colorado resort, just down rd. from Vail, can get lift tickets for us$39 for an adult & 4 kids free per paying adult. To get this, must book an on snow apartment starting at us$162 a night, that can sleep up to 6 but in 4 beds. Spoke to operator & they said this apartment is small by u.s. standards, big by eu/australian standards & is 3 star, but is only 150m flat walk to lifts that take 6 or 8 people.

Many people seem to think, if they organise trip themselves it's cheaper, but we tried to do this exact trip ourselves online & it was much more expensive. All up about 50% more.

So you were lying in your OP by pretending to be a consumer when really you are a flight broker?

How can you be no longer working in your first post and a flight broker in your second? Wasn’t the smartest move to start your first post with a whopping great lie was it Embarassed

@sbooker, thanks for the spam alert.

And as this forum is UK based we only have a few Australian based members that can probably be counted on the fingers of your hand (very welcome though they are snowHead ) and so dontskienough is going to have very few potential customers Laughing

@dontskienough if anyone has an "agenda" then it's the person who is trying to flog airline tickets and poses in their first post as just a skier who is no longer working....
You've been rumbled mate, time to move on, perhaps you'd care to try this forum instead: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/

People actually read through that gibberish by the OP?

I saw it coming in the title and didn’t bother. Until people start to reply to it... Eh oh!
