Poster: A snowHead

HI,
I am looking for any recommendations/suggestions for women's only ski courses for this coming season. My planned trip to Val D'isere with some work colleagues has fallen through at the end of Jan!
I have now got a real thing about those horrible icy narrow paths after coming a cropper skiing down from the top of the Valley Blanc and the ski guide shouting at me. Help!
Many thanks,
Zoe

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks @DB. Do you have any personal experience of any of these? I have looked at Skigodess (the front runner at the moment on an advanced week), and Element (looks like I might be sick with a group of city types with little in common(I am a rural ski chic!))???

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@gaschick, maybe 'Snoworks' might be an option. It was a few years ago Emma did a female only course.
Google tells me 'The Telegraph' did an article on Women only ski courses... Maybe you've already seen it.

I know a bunch of Ladies who have done Element. Ages 30s to 50s.
They all had good things to say...and all enjoyed each other's company.
(I am curious...what makes you think they are all City types?)

Wish I had but they don't let blokes on the courses.

@rungsp I got this impression from the reviews of the course in the Telegraph article. I just re-read my horrible typo!!! 'Sick' should have read 'stuck'!!!!!!!!!
I am a lowly NHS worker. "After the session, we ride the Medran gondola up into the sunshine. I ask Ladan, a young London professional, how she felt about life coaching."
"Aged from thirties to fifties, everyone in the group is accomplished in their fields, mostly finance, either British or American. "
Thanks for the positive feedback about the course! I liked the sound of the Godess course as you stay with the same bunch of people on the course. There was another one in Austria with Redpoint Holidays. The accommodation looked fantastic.

You'll get to see more forums and be part of the best ski club on the net.

Thanks @bigben. I had read about Flo's exploits with ski tuition before. As I am solo, I think I would prefer the camaraderie of staying with the other ladies on the course.

Great to hear some good things about Ski Goddess - I'm considering them next year!
