Evenin all, heading out to Montgenevre in just over a week. Already getting the bug cos of the snow in Brum. Roll on the 12th! Anyway, has anyone been recently and if you have, what's the snow like? Official reports look good, but straight from the horsey boarders mouth (you know what i mean!) is better. More importantly, is outside burger still there?! I need my 1/2 pounder fix at lunch! Do the jackpot band still play in the Ca Del Sol on Wednesdays so I can go crowd surfing off the bar!? Is Steely still knocking around the resort? These questions need answering people! And if anyone is finding themselves out there from the 12th and wants to meet up on the mountain or in the bar let me know. There's 3 of us going and more riding & drinking buddies are always welcome!

There's a good question! Outside burger is definitely still there, and has upgraded its premises a bit (but not too much - he's still firmly outside.)

Spent a day there just before the Olympics and the snow cover was good. Link to Claviere was open and the pistes were uncrowded. The resort seemed a bit small and quiet IMO but you've obviously been before and know it better than me. I'd go back tho' and spend a couple of days there.

Just back from Montgenevre, great skiing' loads of fresh snow, difficult at the end of the week as the snow didn't stop falling 100cm in 3 days. The beginning of the week was great skiing lots of nice soft snow and sunshine - couldn't ask for more !Only problem was leaving as car was stuck (even tho we have snow tyres) and had to get towed out. Station was quiet even tho they were there during the frnech school holidays (last week). i had a great time , course with esf the morning , our instructor was excellent , lots of tips and i feel as tho i've improved loads also he took us round the whole resort french and italian sides. We were staying in club de soleil so didn't really go into montgenevre to socialize, overall i had an excellent holiday (including the 2 days of gastro suffered by my son) and will certainly go back
