Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chamonix

Hi. I'm off to Chamonix on 5th March. I will have 3 full days skiing and don't know the area at all. I can see there are various lift pass options and that the ski area is a bit spread out.

Any ideas for how to make the most of my 3 days? I am staying in the town centre, will be skiiing on my own - on piste - and like to cover a lot of ground - normally out first lift till last lift.

Thanks!

One day at Brevent/Flegere, one at Le Tour, and one at Grand Montets.

@alanhay, not a big fan of Brevent but Le Tour and GM awesome, the buses always are a mystery to me but it’s because I’ve never taken time to study them, maybe suss the routes and timings before you go.

@alanhay, presuming the weather doesn’t change much you won’t need Les Houches for below tree line skiing.

So buy a Le Pass.

And as suggested, a day in each area. Grands Montets currently has best snow, but BrevFleg and Balme aren’t bad at all.

I never use the buses either as we have a car and usually just walk 3 minutes up to Brevent...
