Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Black Diamond Jetforce Pro (2019/20 season)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Seems like the first proper review of the new Black Diamond JetForce Pro is here (in Swedish with subtitles) https://www.freeride.se/video/62243/.

Half a kilo lighter than their predecessors, at least 3 discharges on one charge, and a system where you can easily change the size of the backpack between 10, 25 and 35 liters makes this new gadget extra hot.

JetForce Pro Quick Facts:
* All required ski features are available: helmet net, stable waist belt, ice axe mount, packing space for shovel and probe, diagonal ski carry system (ava bag can be triggered with skis being carried)

* Lithium battery powered fan system with 200 liter airbag
* 25 liters in back size S / M 2.95 kg and in M / L 2.98 kg
* 10 liters and 35 liters can be purchased and called JetForce Booster (approx. SEK 500-800 each)
* Available in autumn 2019
* Costs SEK 11 500 with 25 liter bag
* Travel-friendly, as it is without a gas cartridge
* Can be discharged several times on the same charge, at least 3 times (8 when we tested at room temperature the first time, and then 7 outdoors at about -1 degrees Celsius).
* Standby charge time of approximately 30 days of skiing
* Continued inflation after it has been released
* Easy to pack
* Self-check of battery and system function at start-up
* Software update via bluetooth

* JetForce Pro is also suitable for Snowboard splitboard but then a Booster Split needs to be purchased.

The JetForce series also includes two other avalanche backpack systems:
* JetForce Tour 26L which is a collaboration with Alpride and their super capacitor E1 which is slightly lighter 2.63 kg in 26 L and size M / L and slightly cheaper, but can be triggered once before it has to be charged for about 1 hour (can be load with two AA batteries in the field).
* JetForce Ultra Light which is a super lightweight dual cartridge system (two small carbon dioxide containers) from Alpride and weighs 1991 grams in total

@Themasterpiece, Many thanks. Good news on the lower weight and the ability to add volume. I’ve had the Pieps Tour versions since they came out, and the bags always came up under sized in terms of capacity.

It looks like they are investing big time in theses packs, and will be in every segment of the market.

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

An excellent review here of the new Jetforce Pro version by a field tester. It’s on a Polish site, but can be switched to English.
