I'm embarrassed to say I first went to Dicks T Bar in 1986.
These days I'd say Austria. St Anton a good shout and cheaper than Val or Verbier.
Or Ischgl. Fewer brits, very German and complete carnage.

Never been to Verbier but been to Val the last two years.
I think there's a dearth between immediate Apres and Clubbing times in Val - i.e. 7-11pm. The Folie is unique but a once or twice visit in the week IMO, but Cocorico from 4:30 with a band on is great fun and a must for every day!!. Then it's all a bit "out for dinner-y" until the clubs (Dicks, but only for this year) get going later on. There doesn't seem to be an abundance you can carry on to and then just crash out at 10pm like in Ischgl or Mayrhofen. It's a fantastic place though and I love it!!! We also discovered Le Hibou this year which is a great bar.

go past Verbier to Zermatt. Verbier was a little dead when we went in February. Perhaps I was unlucky?

We bought in Val partly because the apres is so good.
Apres:

Petit Danois
Saloon
Bananas
For the evening bit:
Lodge Bar (my fave)
Le Garage
Morris Pub
Baraque (always great bands)
Underground
Clubbing:
Doudoune (a really great club, my favourite)
Dicks (legendary)

Start at the Schatzi bar and then move on. They even have lap dancers in some places if that floats your boat.

St Anton or Kitzbuehel would be my choice for the combination.

Verbier won't just flex your budget it will f**k it, spent the last three hols there. I've repped in most of the big French resorts but would take Austria for Apres any day.

Well I am biased...I love Verbier and have a shack there:
I would not say it is the Best for Apres.
It is good....but Val, St Anton (and so I am told Ischgl) are better.

St Anton = chickfree zone.
Val Despair = trying too hard.
Verbier = St Trop with snow.
