Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For 2 weeks:
Ski Loisirs Sport2000 Tignes Val Claret via snowrental
Intermediate €152 and 3 x child (0-6) €56@
Snow Fun Hotel Diva with
SkiSet
via j2ski
Silver (relaxation) €198 and 3 x Mini Kid (baby-6years) €85@
Am I getting a different product?! I chose the middle of three grades of adult equipment from each company (for a beginner with Xscape experience only) and the only kids' choice available for that age group. Has anyone been to either shop or had experience with either rental chain? Is the chain relevant or is it individual shop dependent?

Why not check 'em out when you get there?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If you are pre competent parallels sport2000's online green rated equipment would be great (at least it has been the two time s I've taken it in schaldming and la plagne). Booking online for them seems to be much cheaper - in resort they refused green as 'for children' and would only give us 'red' level - but the prebooked green skis were fine (head easy and rossignol actyls maybe?) and v. cheap
Try them direct btw sometimes cheaper

I've used both and while for
skiset
I've found it cheaper to pick up in resort, for sport2000 I've been cheaper to prebook and they have then worked out cheaper for the same equipment.
It is the individual shop that matters though - they vary a lot!

sport2000 direct are giving me E99 per adult for 13 days green level skis and boots in tignes-VC starting next weekend. At that price I'd say it's worth a punt - you can always upgrade in resort if need be...
