Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You should be alright. Not guaranteed at that time of year, some of the operators have started shutting earlier. Having said which my best day last year was the last day the hill was open.

Unless you're going to go regularly I'd say frack it you only live once.

Last season was exceptional at the end, mind. But March is pretty much peak anyway.

Hi @bobhitch I dont know if you'll find Powda, but enjoy anyway.
Plan a road trip from Calgary right through to Whistler and take in the Banff area, Lake Louise , Kicking Horse and Revelstoke.
I've never got as far as Whistler, these Canadian Resorts are no where as big as the European ones but they have their own charm.
Do some ice fishing too, I could never imagine that could be such a blast, heading off into the wilderness on Skidoos for miles where nobody has set foot in months.

I'm totally smitten with Canadian Rockies.

@ bobhitch,

there's a guy trying to offload his canadian heli ski trip starting this friday. Check it out in Buy.Sell, exchange section.

couple that with a few days in Kicking horse and you have the makings of a trip of a lifetime. forecast for heli resort is only so so for fresh powder unfortunately (as otherwise I'd be going , not a word to the OH Wink )

Let us know what u do and what it's like
