Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ryanair ski carriage

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Just booked ski carriage only with Ryanair after seeing old Snowheads post stating that this covered skis, poles and boots? I intended to take ski bag and separate boot bag but after seeing a newer post today I am worried that this is not so? Can anyone clarify please.

Short answer I don't know! I will now read and digest but I assumed (I know!) It would be the same as the other airlines which allow a ski bag and a boot bag as long as it's within the weight limit.

Many airlines don't allow a separate boot bag. Book priority and take rhem in a wheelie bag as hand luggage

ask RyanAir on website chat or social media.
If you get the answer you want then print out a copy as evidence.
If you dont get the answer you want, then try asking via another platform ;o)

I have had Easyjet staff not knowing their own policies that board & boots can be in separate bags as long as you dont exceed the combined weight limit.
So really depends on how knowledgeable the staff member is on the day!

I flew last week with RY

Skis poles and clothes in ski bag, no-one checks its contents if less than 20kg

I elected to put ski boots in my carry on 10kg bag, 10kg bag I did not carry on , it can be checked in for I think 7eur per flight, or you have the option to bring on if you book priority seating
