Poster: A snowHead
|
Looking for a place in driving distance from Zurich (less than two hours ideally) for a weekend of offpiste and touring. We were initially considering Andermatt, but accomodation is prohibitively expensive on such short notice. Does anybody have any experience with Flumserberg for offpiste and touring? Any other ideas welcome. Thanks!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Engelberg? Stay down in Stans and you'd have easy access to both the Melchtal and the Engelberg sides.

Laax might be an idea. Significant number of locals/seasonaires only interested in the park, so you shouldn't have much competition...

Thanks for all the suggestions. Settled on Airolo, south of Andermatt.
