Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Two questions for I may (I know you are not insurance brokers)
1. I have taken snowcatd off piste (without guide) Insurance, should I get carte neige as well?
2. If I get lift pass through Tour Operator, they can’t provide carte neige, but can I do a top up at lift pass office
Thanks

@k1orange, you can get the top up at the lift pass office. you don't "need" it but many on here like to double insure with it. you might have to pay some costs up front and claim back off snowcard but the carte means the evac of the mountain and trip to clinic will not be charged for.

Generally in France, the lift pass office will offer Carré Neige for the duration of the stay. It is limited to the lift served area in which your pass is valid. Carte Neige is valid for a year and for the whole of France - in Tignes they are available in the Tourist Offices.

@under a new name, Ta, not read that bit in detail, as I am unlikely to get outside France unless the touring goes very wrong!
