Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Lecht (Scotland)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm sat in my campervan here on the carpark at The Lecht. We've had a blizzard but it seems there's a fair chance of some runs opening tomorrow (Monday). This from their Facebook page:
"Lift Status
The runs are starting to fill in a bit more and hope to open the Eagle, Osprey, Grouse, Robin and Wren on Monday. We will confirm this in the morning once we have assessed them. Hopefully they will contine to fill in and not blow away."
Forecast is for more snow the rest of today and for the wind to die down tomorrow. So fingers crossed that they can finally open up some main runs - I was on the beginner runs yesterday and they were jam packed.

@boisdevie, Have you been there all day as they were saying the roads were closed both sides, anyway good luck as the Lecht can certainly open with less snow than other areas.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Been here since Friday evening in my campervan so once you're here it doesn't matter if they close the roads. Provided I don't run out of tea bags in which case I'd clearly need a humanitarian airlift.

Enjoy the first tracks in the morning, don't run out of tea bags until the cafe opens.

Wow, completely jealous, would love to be up there just now.

I'd be more concerned about the wine situation, but as you don't mention it, you're more careful about that than teabags?

the problem with the lecht and glenshee is the complete lack of public transport.

There are always plenty of coaches in the car park but I'm not sure how you get to ride on one.

I don't usually mind the hours drive Toofy Grin
