Poster: A snowHead

I am trying to find a ski boot to buy for my god-daughter who is 4YO but very small for her age, more like a 2YO. Her feet are size 23 but the smallest I can find seem to start at 26 which is just under an inch difference. Is anyone aware of a particular brand / model that us particularly small? My aim is to find one second hand to avoid spending the first day of half term week searching shop to shop in Chatel to rent a pair.

She's going to grow. I'd suggest getting them slightly large anyways and stuff the ends with bits of old towels. Then you can remove the bits as she grows. There's nothing worse to a kid that boots that are too small, and their placement on the ski wont matter so much yet. Take the liners out so you can feel her toes for a good fit. That's what we do anyways

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@altis, These are interesting as they grow with their feet but expensive upfront.
@Spoon, I am concluding that 14.5 is probably the smallest shell available.

One of my grand-daughters had tiny feet but we had no problem getting little boots in a hire shop - I wouldn't worry.

Same experience as @pam w, hire shops have a good selection of small sizes. Mine girls were 3 and a half when they started (and very small feet) and we have only just bought boots now and they are 12. Also the hire shop we used was pretty good at fitting them, making them laugh to jump up and whack the heel etc

My son was size 21 when we went to Tignes ( he just turned 3 then) and they found boots for him ( might have been slightly big but he was fine)
