Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

January 14, 2019 - reporting from Lake Tahoe, California.

Squaw Valley USA reported 63.6 inches = 1.6 meter of new snow within 5 days of storms + forecast calls for 1 to 4 more feet (1.2 meter) of snow from Monday night until Friday morning Jan 14 to Jan 18, 2019. High wind/gusts and whiteout conditions expected during this storm series.

Friday to Saturday Jan 18, 19 would be an ideal time to partake in the fresh POWDER since forecast calls for a break in storms for Friday until Saturday. The next storm will be Sunday Jan 21 into Monday Jan 22, 2019.
