Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A friend was saying he drives to MK, from London because Hemel is 'always so busy'.
He can't go during the working day, which makes things trickier of course but are there any evenings when it's generally quiet?

Early morning as it opens is gerally quietest for the first hour or so, then it builds up. It’s opens at 8am some days.

MK was busy enough when we went last week!

Also the ski school was using the drag as well as the magic carpet, people were falling off and it was stopping constantly. It must for taken 15 mins one time to get up.
We used the other drag from then on!

We always drive from MK to Hemel as MK has been pants every time we have gone of late.

At Hemel:

Monday evening is race club. Thursday and Friday evening will have some freestyle features on the slope which may or may not be a good thing for your requirements. Saturday and Sunday are weekends so generally busier than weeknights and the snow will be more cut up due to higher traffic earlier in the day than on other days which likewise may or may not be a good thing.

That leaves Tuesday and Wednesday evening. You can get a 3 hour evening lift pass (from 7-10pm I think) that might help with cost.
