 Poster: A snowHead

Hi guys,
Wanted some advice on good inner gloves. I have a pair of POC Julia Manchuso gloves which I love, however when I was in Japan and it was -15c I was feeling it. I'm looking for a thin pair of inner gloves I can wear on the super cold days that work.
Any recommendations much appreciated!

Simple silk liners from Decathlon. Job done.
Tip: avoid black if you can - they just ‘disappear’ to easily.

Silk inners. The kids had Decathlon ones before and they were OK, we've all got £8 ones from amazon now.

+3 for Decathlon silks. Cheap but very warm (I often ski in just them). I have a breeding colony of them for all kinds of outdoor purposes.
Prone to getting holes if you have rubbing points or wear them tight, but for the price (around £5-8 depending on size) you either junk and replace or get out the needle and thread.
Never had problems with black; think they all come in black, don't they?
If you buy different sizes you can wear 2 pairs without restriction.
Other alternative is cheap fleece liner gloves. Decathlon also do those for about the same price.

I use Nike running gloves under mine.
They are good because they work with touch screen so when I need to send a text or look on the ski map apps bus timetable etc I don’t have to take them off
I wear mittens over the top though where you can poke your fingers through the middle of them through a slit-like kids ones. They are the best mittens I’ve ever had actually.

Black Diamond do some thin merino inner gloves and they were definitely warm but I found they got holes in them easily.
The Nike running gloves are a bit more robust so you can carry your skis without your main/outer gloves/mitts on and not worry too much about the ski edges making holes.

Yes and yes. But cheap as chips so ern if they get lost/frayed they are not much to replace.

I used a pair of Arc’teryx merino liner for a week and they fell apart. £35 of over priced junk, I returned them for a refund and will go back to my hestra liners.
