The thin foam round my plastic goggles frame is starting to detach. Foam seems OK, just like it's peeling away. Frame, strap and lens still good, so what can I use to stick it back on that doesn't dissolve foam? Cheers.

I just had the same problem a week or so ago, and bought a bog-standard small squeezy tube of glue that's aimed at leather (or general shoe repair), rubber and soft plastics. Since it was either that or nothing here in the mountain village, I took a punt. No problems at all, so far.

My first thought would be EvoStik Impact contact adhesive, but you might want to test a little area first.

@tarrantd, thought about that, have some thick black stuff with me and some thin stuff at home. Just worried that it might damage or rip the foam more. But thinking about it again, yes, the thin stuff might be worth a punt before getting my fingers too sticky.
Thanks other suggestions. Was worried if the smelly evo-stick
or shoe sole sticking stuff might 'melt' the very non-dense foam. I've also made bike seats before, bought special spray-on stuff from foam suppliers and it's also pretty smelly - and also very sticky and very, very messy! The goggles need pretty delicate applications...

I've use EvoStik and it stuck the foam fine... Only problem was I used the goggles a few days later and was getting a bit high on the fumes.

Bostick contact adhesive worked for me. Foam still going strong after some 40 days skiing. Not sure if you have it in Europe.

I keep getting this problem with Poc helmet liner foam.. I've tried Wilko conact adhesive, but it's not really doing the trick 
Poc have replaced it a couple of times, but I was hoping to find an easier solution

I've had reasonable success with this stuff http://www.bsi-inc.co.uk/foam-cure-1oz.html
Apparently some model shops stock it but I ordered it online. In the end I only used it as a temp fix to get me through one more week. The glue was holding fine but the edge of the foam that sits against my face was starting to crumble. I had no option but to grab myself a new pair from Sport Pursuit, obviously.....

Maybe a smear of aquarium non toxic silicone sealant. Shoe glue would probably be fine if you make sure it's totally dry and smell free.

As a public service, here's my experience.
Finally found the answer after email exchanges with tech help lines from both 3M and Henkel (Loctite).
It really needs a specialist glue. You can get it. But it's expensive for such a small job. Think 35gbp or more for a tube. And you'll probably have to spend more on other bits. Probably not worth it unless you really, really love your goggles.

HISTORY : Before that, tried everything to replace/reglue foam on my googles. Tried silicon sealants, bostik, builders double sided tape, super glue, specialist foam-to-foam spray glue, you name it etc etc over a couple of years and nothing would hold reliably for more than a day or two. Some almost worked... ...then failed when exposed to real world use.
So, eventually I asked the question of the tech support guys.
QUESTION: Hi , do you have any glues that will successfully fix open cell foam to a smooth plastic? I'm trying to repair my ski goggles The face foam has come apart, and I want to replace it. Cuz I've spent so much on spare lenses, i don't want to just throw them away.
THE PROBLEM: (as described by the tech support guys)
From the description of the problems you have encountered with repairing your ski goggles, it sounds like the frames are constructed from polypropylene. It is very difficult to obtain a reliable bond to polypropylene owing to the low surface energy of the material.
THE ANSWER:
Henkel/Loctite - sorry , no suitable products in the range
3M - try using DP8010 product, which may be suitable
THE RESULT:
The 3M DP8010 blue worked.
I'm pleased.
ISSUES:
(1) BUT ITS *NOT* CHEAP.
The 3M-DP8010 glue is approx 35gbp for a tube, nozzles, and plunger.
And there's 50gbp more if you decide you want to use the specialist applicator gun.
And you have to source replacement foam if the old stuff on your goggles is shot..
(2) DP8010 has to be bought thru distribution network. I used https://www.selfadhesive.co.uk/ recommended by 3M as my local supplier
(3) The glue needs careful handling. Its noxious stuff. Scare yourself by reading the data sheet and handling info.
THE CONCLUSION
Unless you really, really, really love your goggles.... ...just buy some new ones. Its a similar price, and much faster and less faff.

Only way to find out is to try.
And trying all the options can get tedious (I know.... I tried 'em all )

- how much rough handling the foam gets

My frames resisted all attempts with those options. Trust me, I tried.
Distinctly remember the googles leaving behind half the foam on my face in the hot sunshine while stopping at a bar in Tignes.

I used Copydex on mine as it doesn't have any aggressive organic solvents. May sound old fashioned but it worked and it's cheap.

@flangesax, yes. I agree for the most part. It's only worth the back bottom of trying to re-foam your goggles if equivalent lenses/optics cost silly money to replace.

The OH used a glue gun on hers when similar happened.
Was a good stop-gap for a couple of trips but eventually it was time for a new pair of goggles!
