Poster: A snowHead
|
Trip coming up in Gran Paradiso out of Alagna in 2 weeks where we plan to do various day tours. My sister is coming along, good skier but never goes and does not have touring kit. Trying to find somewhere that rents touring kit, skins, skis and boots. I think it's going to be a bit of a long shot. Anybody know if anywhere? (Or in Nice where we depart from)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@jbk12, if driving up from Nice presume you'll be coming through our neck of the woods, Briancon / Serre Chevalier?
If so advise accordingly and I'll give you the details of a couple of places.

Thanks guys, unsure if we will be taking a route through Briancon, but all the same would be good to have details of shops that will rent touring boots skis and skins, in case we do go through there.

I've hired from Sporthaus before - it's right next to the lift in Alagna and seemed to have a pretty good selection of gear. I didn't rent boots though - just skis/skins/crampons
