Not really my cuppa but for those that enjoy this kind of adventure the North couloir of the 8500 meter Lhotse has been skied off the summit by Jim Morrisson and Hilaree Nelson
"thenorthfaceThis morning, @hilareenelson and @jimwmorrison became the first humans in history to ski the Lhotse Couloir. After summiting Lhotse, the fourth highest mountain on earth, Hilaree and Jim made a 7000 ft descent. We couldn’t be more proud. The crew is back at Camp 2 getting some much needed sleep after a 17 hour push to the summit and the ski descent. More photos to share when they’re back at base camp. Pretty cool.
Think a few folks have skied near it, over the years. But never down the actual chute. It's steep, at 45-50 degs for most of the way.

But seriously, thats incredible and insane at the same time. Can't help feeling when I read things like this that these people really must have a death wish, one tiny mistake and its all over. I cant really work out if I admire them or not really.
