Poster: A snowHead

I know this general topic gets done to death every year, and as a part time resident I should be on top of it, but the providers change a lot, so here goes...
Does anyone know if any of the Chamonix transfers services use only 7/8 seater vans? Mountain drop offs have historically been my go-to provider but (no fault of theirs) a few transfers with a 12 sweater and a lot of 1/2 person pickups and drop offs mean it can be 3 hrs vs the 1-1.5 that it takes to actually drive it. My googling suggest that everyone seems to compete on price rather than quality, whereas I’m happy to pay more than the standard c.€30 going rate for a better service level.

Depending on your numbers a private transfer is probably better value if speed is your deciding factor @snowdave,

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just one, so whilst it’s an option, it’s a pricey one, I was more interested in a middle ground.

@snowdave, I think... Reference and Haute Transfer use VWs ...bit more expensive... €56 vs €40 iirc

CVT (chamonix valley transfers) only use smaller buses so fewer pickups. Best service in the valley to IMO
