Lake Tahoe Area Ski Resorts received from 8 to 25 inches of snow with Squaw Alpine, Kirkwood and Sugar Bowl all recording 25 inches (0.64 meter) of snow within a 72 hour period from November 22 to November 24, 2018.
Tahoe resorts are opened for the 2018/19 season.
"- Sunny and cool weather returns Saturday through Monday. Highs in the 40's on the mountains with overnight lows in the 20's.
- The next storm is set to move in by Tuesday 11/27/2018 afternoon. This storm looks to start warm with high elevation snow and falling snow levels Tuesday night. Expecting light snowfall amounts of a few inches on the mountains.
- A colder and stronger storm looks like it could be right on the heels of the first. We could see heavier snowfall move in Wednesday night into Thursday before moving out Thursday night. This storm could be measured in feet." - Bryan of OpenSnow
It's starting to look like a ski and snowboard winter wonderland with the fresh powder.

@orange, I did that last year on a weekend in a work trip. Watch out for the $150 daily lift pass price!

Lift passes in the States do seem to be silly money compared to Europe. Given that snow conditions were a bit poor when we were at Lake Tahoe last year we just did not bother to ski, seemed poor value for money.
