Tricky as the vast majority of private transfer buses are limited to 8 pax, but other than hire cars I don't see that you have any option. Bensbus.co.uk don't serve Oz, although they do transfer to Alpe D so it might be worth contacting them direct to see: 1. Are they able to help; 2. Are they legally allowed to help.
Google threw up this gang:

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

France seem to have similar laws to the UK
So only a maximum of 8 paying pax are allowed without a different licence/additional operators licence.
Similar problems for me & quotes was around €1400 euros for 9 pax.
Managed to get a got offer via http://findtransfers.com/ by what seems a reputable company by looking at various reviews around the web.
So maybe worth posting a job up

They don't go all the way to Oz but they will drop in/pick up from Rochetaillee, from where you can book taxi transfers the last 13kms up to Oz.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I have a quote for an 8 bus of around 500 euro, so may look at hire cars
But I was looking for an 8 seat and taxi of 4 which would put us over the line..
However I am interested in the taxi transfer from Rochetaillee, are there taxi company's who specialise in this?

forgot to say. €790 is the price we are paying for 9 - 1 of whom is only a toddler. (2x MPV + a trailer)

@ibisona, As others have mentioned — www.findtransfers.com is the way to go. Your request goes out to many, many transfer companies, and they will bid for the work.
I have used them a number of times, and saved a fortune!

Alpine Eagle.

We used them from Grenoble to La Plagne last year. We were a group of 10. They have a large 16 seater bus and the service was top class. Came in at considerably cheaper than other transfer options as well.

@ibisona, another vote for www.findtransfers.com
Have used them lots and always get a much cheaper price that I can find searching the internet. Last year I had 11 pax on way to resort and 14 pax on way back to Geneva and it was no problems.

I'm off to Oz at the start of Jan and found for 4 a hire car was about the same price as Bens Bus + taxi but offered the additional convienience of being able to shop in the valley en-route. That was before I discovered how hard it is to guarantee a winter tyre equiped hire car from Grenoble airport. Basically adding the winter kit doubled the price, so we're back on Bens Bus + taxi.
