 Poster: A snowHead

Can anybody tell me what the ski lift is at Knockhatch dry ski slope? I have looked round their website and there is nobody in the office to answer any queries by phone with no suggestions as to when to phone to speak to a human

Thanks - is it a “normal” button lift? Ie one which has an elasticated element to it? (If you have ever been on the one at Snowtrax you will understand why I am asking as my daughter will not go on that lift again )

@NickyJ, Yes it's a fairly standard one. I actually have been to snowtrax, although I can't remember the lift.

Perfect thanks. She is quite happy with those. I was trying to find a photo like that on their website and failed.

The main lift at Snowtrax has a button element but it is attached to a metal bar which is in a fixed position on the metal rope going up. So you have to grab the metal bar force that to rotate, and hold on. Due to the fixed nature it really isn’t nice to use and my daughter fell off it and hence has a phobia of it now.

Looks like a fixed grip Montaz Mautino button lift. The pole will be telescopic and retractable after release.
