ok...how on Earth do I choose?
- New Year week with kolkie, her brother and my parents
- ski and photography week in the Dolomites
- SH Birthday Bash
- our classic La Grave March week (this reminds me I forgot to put up a TR from the '17 edition)
- SH offpiste bash
- a Lofoten trip that I've done more than 3 years ago - I should really return...
- EOSB
- trip with friends and horizon jr in St Anton or Montafon freeride camp (same week in Feb)
- already said no to trips organised by snowball due to lack of time, but I'd like to ski with him again
...I have a certain amount of leeway from work, but...
I'm starting to understand admin's decision to form snowheads so he could ski loads, but he cornered that market niche already.
I don't think there's enough money in being a ski photographer for tourists...

That's why I went back to working in skiing.
Couldn't find a job which would pay me enough to have as much time as I wanted on snow.

Hi, @holidayloverxx and @Hurtle, @horizon just mentioned this thread, and I haven't been on snowHeads for ages so thought I'd take a look. Nice that someone on here still remembers me: perhaps I should come back!
Yes I still ski much the same, though I get a bit tired with long slogs up on skins. Did a helicopter ski holiday in Alaska last season, though they had had 90mph winds just before and everything was crust or breakable crust, except the last day when they shipped us 80 miles North (and we did 8 ascents to ski powder - Great!)

Add to the welcome backs. The above is why I've never been bold enough to ever commit to a heli skiing trip (that and being totally closed out by the weather). Glad you got a payoff at the end.

Ya, know someone in Stockholm who had a baby, just so he and his wife could fill their dream of sailing a loop of the Med on a small yacht for 6 months, lol.
