Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@Stevebsnohappy, good luck finding someone or a group. If you don’t have any luck, UCPA (Action Outdoors website) is a great option for a lone skier.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi @Stevebsnohappy,

If you don't find a group to join then how about a catered chalet? We have shared availability in both of our chalets Snowdrop and Flocon and would be pleased to welcome a solo skier.

Drop me through an email via the website mentioning snowheads and I'd be happy to do you no single supplement.

Best wishes,
Heather

Looking at something the same. 1250 seems a lot, though I guess it is Xmas and includes skip pass. I'm not too bothered about the lessons as I can ski most runs and enjoy pottering around then a few a present drinks.

Its very unusual to get a single room at Christmas & as drinks and lunch are included theres nothing at all to pay unless you want to hire skis. We use the lessons as guiding in order to meet other skiers of similar ability and form our own groups. If the guide is good we stick with it on or off piste but we often do our own thing some of the time.

I'll be in Cham over xmas without the kids - I have a 3 bed apt plus sofa.

It can be a miserable time on your own so PM if you want to stay. I'd rather not be cooking xmas dinner for just me.

Just 50, must remind myself I'm old now (ha ha), can ski most things, like ski touring too.

I stayed in Chalet Chardons last Xmas in a shared room, really good atmosphere, two other guys staying there as solo travellers too, £300 at the time
