A good segment there. The calendar shot works well too. I was planning on a serious siege of "surf snowdonia" in the next few months; perhaps I should take a snowboard too.
On the other hand, the snow looks pretty unfriendly.

Indeed it is. Darker than the chorus suggests.

Not 100% clear from the pics (due to the spraying powder  ....) but are those touring skis/bindings? (Could well be pin bindings on the heel?)
