5 years ago (and about 12+ weeks worth of skiing) I bought a new pair of Head ski boots (Profeet).
They were superbly fitted and required on minor adjustment after the first week.
Now, the liners have worn quite extensively in the upper heel, lower ankle area in both boots. The shells both appear to be in good condition.
My questions: is it worth seeking a new liner fit and how likely is it that I’ll be able to get a good solution?
Up until this point, the boots are actually very comfortable, even with the degradation in the liner (I suspect this will change as the liners compact more and the wearing gets worse).
I’m fairly loath to buy new boots just yet, but if there isn’t likely to be a cost-effective solution for new liners, then new boots it will be.
To slightly complicate matters, I’m no longer UK based, as I live in Austria. Although a common-enough brand, locally, Head isn’t a leading boot type.

What size? I've got some liners from full tilts (intuition) that I'd let go inexpensively?

@PowderAdict, that’s actually not a bad idea, thanks. The liners were standard. They very slightly ‘blew’ one boot. The in soles were custom made, so should pop straight into a new liner.
@Roguevfr, thanks for the offer - I’ll look into Profeet first. My boot size is 31.7....
I mulled over Zipfit last time around (when liners compacted with first pair of boots) but the cost didn’t justify compared to buying new boots (first pair were relatively inexpensive). Might be an option this time.

@Cacciatore, Zipfit liner will dramatically increase the life of boots - my last pair of boots I wore until the liners were packed down too much, then got zipfits, which I had topped up twice, and finally binned the lot after an estimated 700 days use.

Hmmm, from Zipfit’s own site, it doesn’t appear that they have any fitters in Austria.

I've never skied in zipfits but aftermarket Intuition liners are good (I assume not AS good as zipfit but a definite upgrade over stock liners) and you can mould them at home using a domestic oven or the microwave rice method - some good youtube vids available. If you like the shells I'd definitely consider them (Intuition Powerwrap would be a place to start but if the shells are a race fit you'd probably want to go for one of the thinner models)

I'm on my third pair of liners in a pair of Heads - for the second I bought an unused pair of ex rental boots from a charity shop and now have Garmont liners in from my tele boots. The Garmonts are like Intuitions and very warm and comfy.

Again, thanks to all for the advice.
In the end I opted for replacement liners, ordered via a local hire/sales shop. The shells are fine, so this seemed the most cost-effective solution over the next few seasons until new boots beckon.
Now skiing in more stable comfort 🤪😀.
