Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

VT ski school, private or lessons before etc

My two kids aged 10 and 11 and me and the better half are off to Val Thorens Easter 2024. My two boys haven't skid before but i have booked them in for a 90 minute session at the milton keynes snowdome before hand.

I am thinking that ski school out in VT is a must for the kids so as all of us can get the most out of the trip, but then i started to think about private instruction out on the resort!? Since i wonder if by day 5/6 they would be good enough to skip ski school and join us for a full day on easy slopes. I guess tbh if we felt that way they could just skip the last day anyway and join us.

I also wonder whether it would be a good idea to do 4 days (1 hour a day) dry slope group tuition before hand during the Feb half term

I don't want to spend money needlessly and suspect that the 90 mins snowdome and ski school route when out there is best - thats costing enough and giving them the experience and Fun of skiing

I am keen to get all folks thoughts and experiences

thanks

IMO, the more they do before going, the better they'll get on once there.
