Poster: A snowHead
|
Hello! To cut a long message short my wife and I will be near Andorra on April 21st and 22nd. We were thinking of spending a day skiing.
Will there be any snow??!! Where would you recommend?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Matt

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I guess Pas de la Casa simply because it's highest, so greater chance of snow. Simply, wait until a few days before, then decide.
Sorry, that's out of Grandvalira, I don't know the altitudes of the Vallnord resorts.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Unless they significantly extend the season, the Andorran resorts will be closed by then. However, Masella isn't too far away from Pas de la Casa if you have a car, and they always try to make it until 1 May. At that time of year, though, it'll be very much morning skiing only... have you thought about other activities such as snow shoeing (or "merely" hiking)? There are some nice routes in Andorra.

I need to confirm this, but apparantly Arcalis will now stay open until end of April (other resorts will close).
