I recently made a small tear in my Norrona Lofoten jacket. The result of recent over-enthusiastic tree skiing in Japan.
Google search has given me 2 options for repair, Norrona itself and Scottish Mountain Gear.
SMG can't get it done before my next trip, so I wondered if anyone knows any other alternative repairers?

Thanks .... sounds very practical but I do have a slight psychological issue with performing DIY repairs on my lovely new, very expensive, mystically advanced, jacket.
Should I just get over myself and get on with it?

Duck tape the rip and send it for repair after your next trip/end of season.
I’ve been very happy with repairs/warranty fixes from Norrøna, but I live in Norway and have a Norrøna store 5mins away from me.

@FoofyNoo, not at all, I would feel the same way. However, it's a shell of course, so @Layne's suggestion is presumably invisible enough. Possibly use that as step one then return for a more pro job?

We repaired one of the Jnrs jackets with a Tenacious Tape patch after an over enthusiastic dive for a ball at school. Holding together quite nicely so far despite the indelicate treatment being meted out to it from a 6yo.

I've used Lancashire sports repairs before for a torn goretex jacket repair., repairs to Protest ski trousers. Always a really good job, And I'm still using both.

I've also used Lancashire Sports Repairs - great service on a number of different jobs. If time is tight try giving them a call and explaining, they're easy to talk to and often quite accommodating

We have some spare 'down jacket repair ' (actual product name-look online)patches in royal blue. Worked a treat on my oh's RAB. PM me if you want them. They are made from the right material and are adhesive (waterproof).

Look online for 'spinnaker repair tape' it comes in a variety of colours and is sort of self-sticky when you peel off the protective layer. Work a patch in under the tear and stick down onto it - chances are it will hardly notice, then if necessary stick a patch on top. Cut the tape carefully into circles and ovals - square corners tend to 'pick-up' more easily.
