Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Quiver of 3

Dear All,

I'm moving to interior BC with the family. Everywhere gets droughts and if you live in a resort a quiver of three seems reasonable.

I've got two: Nordica Enforcer 100 and Bent Chetler 120. What should the 3rd set be? What's missing for when the snow isn’t flying?

Thanks for your advice.

Kaestle MX 84 or similar for a piste day?

Funnily enough, I have a quiver of 4 which include the older Nordica Enforcer 98s and a pair of Bent Chetlers at 120mm. My other two skis are Elan GS and Nordica Doberman SL skis, both ex race skis. I hardly use the GSs since I got the SLs though, slalom skis are such fun on the piste and really get you developing your technique. They need a decent amount of precision to ski them well and won't let you get away with much.

Dynastar speedzone 12 or Rossignol Hero MT. They have a turn raidius around 15m I think, so something between a SL and GS ski but a lot of fun on the piste.

I agree with BobinCH

The Kastle MX 84 is a fantastic ski. I first tested it in January 2018 with other testers during Proskilab preselection tests. I loved it. We included it in the 2019 tests and the ski was awarded "Best ski" medal by pro skiers.

A very good ski in my opinion.

Enforcer is an excellent piste ski - what you're missing is a touring ski Wink

Down CD114L with Shift binding is fast becoming the only set up I need...
