Poster: A snowHead

Quick one.
I'm off to Sofia in a few weeks, and have paid the £74 for 'ski's and boots'.
I have a need to take 1 snowboard at around 160cm, and my own ski's at 176. My ski bag won't take the width of a snowboard, and my snowboard bag is too short for my Skis.
It'll be a one off, so I'm trying to avoid buying an expensive double deck bag for one trip - Anyone got a temporary suggestion?

whats the combined weight of the 2 together?
Me and my GF get most of our luggage in a snokart system. 2 bags zipped together but we pay for large sports equipment at £84 i believe, this allows you a full 23kg allowance. You could bind the 2 together with industrial pallet wrap if you know someone who works in a factory, or, use the wrapping machine at the airport. Chances are travelling solo with a hand luggage at max size, you could do away with checked baggage

Has anyone had a issue with easyjet and putting skis and board into the same bag recently? I'm flying from Liverpool - my skis are significantly shorter than my partners board so should easily fit into the bag, but I don't want to get pulled having them in the same bag, has anyone actually had their bag checked if it's in weight?

@Saphhome, We flew from Liverpool before Christmas with EJ. No interest what was in our snowboard bags, didn't even weigh them. So if you are under 20kg you will be fine. Have a great trip.
