Saw it too. Pretty reprehensible behaviour. But as you say unlikely to have changed the result. Kristofferson (isnt he Norwegian?) must be sick of the sight of Hirscher.
Ryding hasnt been able to put two good runs togather or match the results of earlier seasons races. Quite a bit behind the top contenders. Oddly enough same seems to go for his training partner.

Couple of ballbags detracted from another great Hirscher performance. I don’t understand how he can still be so quick on a run that seems to have so many mistakes.

Yes, in the Olso head to heads wasnt it but he still didnt get on the podium. In the real two run world cup stuff he seems to have fallen off the pace he set earlier.

What I saw was a couple of weak snowballs that missed the target. In among the cacophony of sound and the flag waving it shouldn't have made any difference. He got all unnecessary about it and should have shrugged it off, allowing the officials to take care of matters. Instead he bleated to the victor and demonstrated exactly why he mostly comes second. Like the other week when he lost it in the finish area like a spoilt little snowflake. In Madonna a few years ago, Hirscher had a bloody great drone drop out of the sky and nearly take him out, but he just carried on as usual of course.

@moseyp, doh! I was answering the "sick of the sight of" comment when I said he had beaten Hirscher, then compounded the error when ster answered and mentioned the podiums (which I thought very odd ...and no the wonder!)

. Although they didn't hit him he plainly saw them and when he's skiing the gates with 100% concentration that's definitely off putting - he plainly wasn't amused afterwards. Although I doubt it would have altered his 2nd place to Hirscher, it was definitely unsporting and certainly behaviour we don't want repeated in future races!
