Poster: A snowHead
|
I`m going to test some Head Kores tomorrow or thursday; not sure if they are 93`s or 105`s in the shop. They are intended to replace my Line Prophet 98`s, giving me a bit more stiffness on piste, and less weight. If they are 105`s, and still hold an edge on harder pistes, they will also replace the Francis Bacon`s that I never really get a chance to use.
Any thoughts or feedback or alternatives greatly appreciated, thanks

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Don't underestimate the SFB's, they're a blast on the piste when the snows good

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

SKGB Liked the Kore 93, which was one of their favorites in the Freeride catagory.
They found it light, quick, nimble and "alive" underfoot. It was easy to use, while still giving decent performance; though they said the 93 needed a little more width....so I suppose that's where the 105s come in.
The other recommended skis were, Salomon QST 99 and Volkl 90Eight

Yeah Kore 105 is a very good ski, first mainstream ski that seems to have got weight and fun and performance right.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I`m getting on in years, recovering from Lyme disease, and have just found them too much hard work unless there is a decent amount of fresh snow about, which until this week I haven`t had alot of !
Thanks for all the replies, I`ll report back when I`ve tried them.

I'd shortlisted the kores on tech spec but didn't like them much at the oktobertest, a thorough mountain test is best though.
