Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Gets buying half day ticket

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I am due to arrive in Les Gets on Sunday (for the first time) - landing in Geneva 9:55
I am hoping to be able to get a couple of hours in on Sunday afternoon - our chalet is 3 minutes walk from the Chevannes Lift
Can I buy a lift ticket at the Chevannes station?
Can I get a half day ticket just for Les Gets?
Is Sunday afternoon normally really busy?
thx snowHead

Yes. There's a ticket office there.

You can get an 'end of day' ski pass from 2.30pm. the cost is 26.50 Euro
Depending on what ski pass you're getting it might be cheaper to just extend that for an extra day. It's 21 Euro extra for a 7 day rather than 6 day pass for the Les Gets / Morzine pass, probably a bit more for the PDS pass.
Another option, if you just want to get used to having skis on again is the beginner day pass for 20 Euro that gives you access to 13 slopes around the Chavannes Gondola
The last two options would give you more skiing time if you get there early.

Sunday afternoon should be fine. Probably no worse than usual.
