Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, so Christmas didn't work out quite as expected. I had a very mild TIA caused by a vertebral artery tear. This came out of the blue. Am pretty healthy, pretty fit and eat really well. My blood pressure is low to normal.

It appears to be of the spontaneous variety but could have been caused by a whack around 3-4 weeks ago when I slipped on the floor coming out of some toilets, in by ski boots and whacked my head in a door jam.

Can't now ski or do weights or intervals for 3 months until I have a repeat CT to see how it has healed.

Anyone else had anything like this? Were you scared to fall when you started skiing again?
