Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

you may want to look at independent as the New Year week is quite busy, Saalbach plug coming up, the conditions are really good, fly into Salzburg, there is a regular transfer service http://www.holiday-shuttle.at/en/saalbach-hinterglemm, book an independent hotel, check with the tourist board for accommodation https://www.saalbach.com/en/winter, I would recommend the Pension Alpensport though I think they are full http://www.pensionalpensport.com/en/home/, hence recommending approaching the tourist board who are very helpful

@Kiters, have you found anywhere yet?
It is the busiest week of the year really, so options may be very limited.
I recommend getting a car and thinking about staying about a 20 minute drive away from your chosen destination.
For the Ski Amadé area can i'd look at Werfen, and above towards Salzburg.

Innsbruck is often a good destination as there is a lot more accommodation in the city and you can get in and around to the ski areas via bus very easily. I'm no expert on this but some on this 'ere place are!

@flangesax, all options being looked at, although the offer of a room in a country pub in Cornwall for a few days is also tempting at the mo Laughing
