I have a marmot goretex jacket / shell. Can't remember the name, bought from Sport Pursuit last winter for use as a walking / hiking / cycling shell. Excellent shell and good value, bought XL and fits as such (many of the other shells I tried were small in sizing, especially in arm and jacket length).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

6'3 tall and about 16 stone.
I usually have issues with short sleeves and short body, but my marmot jacket fits me well.

I have a marmot jacket (although I don't wear it for anything sporting, I bought it when I worked in industrial freezers) and goretex salopettes (which I do use for skiing) and as someone who is very tall I can say that the lengths are good. Both fit me well and if anything the salopettes (which do to be fair have a long leg sizing) are a little long. So for tall people I would generally recommend as a good brand.
