Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer to Innsbruck airport to Dolomites (Ortisei)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,
can anyone recommend a company for transfer from Innsbruck airport to Ortisei (or even just to Selva) please.
Had banked on Terravision but looks like they may not be running the Dolomite route this winter.
A blow as it was cheap.
Thankyou,
Susie

susieski, Ignoring wilsonvictoria49's spam above (hopefully to be deleted by the mods), have you checked Terravision's site recently? Your post on 21st Oct was a bit early for the winter season, it certainly looks like the website is still advertising the Innsbruck to Dolomites transfer although the timetable for this season hasn't gone up yet : http://www.terravision.eu/innsbruck_dolomites_price_timetable.html

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yes, no transfer this winter.
Had an email from them today.

susieski, That's a shame. How many are there in your party - if there's a couple of you then a taxi transfer may not be too bad cost wise, but if you're on your own then train from Innsbruck to either Chiusa/Klausen or Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck and then local bus or taxi to Ortisei might be best.

A blow as it was cheap and hassle free.

If anyone can give details of the bus and train or a cheap transfer firm that would be
great thanks.

If we took the train from Innsbruck do we need to pre book tickets.
And also which train timetable should I be looking at?

We are there for a month so have a fair bit of luggage to lug around!

Maybe you can ask for a pick up if there is a bus from Munich? snowHead

If you agree on a location allong the motorway, take a taxi there and get picked up? Just Idea

Otherwise train and bus:
