Poster: A snowHead

Bit of a long shot, but is there anyone around south Oxon who who has the kit to service skis and boards and fancies earning a few beers tuning the edges our skis and board? We can do the waxing fine, but haven't currently got the kit to do the edges.
(I've considered going to the Piste Office for a lesson, but there's no availability before I go skiing.)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@sugarmoma666, whereabouts in South Oxon are you and when do you go skiing? I'll be doing my edges in Didcot at some point during mid November or early December if that's any good to you...

@dp, I've just noticed , that according to sugarmoma666's location, they're in Abingdon, so just a hop down the A34 from Didcot.

That could be great. I had a recollection you were in Didcot, but your location is showing up as Liverpool. I'm in Abingdon so very close. My first ski trip of the year is 9th December. Do you have the set-up for boards as well as skis?
I'm pretty sure this is something we could do ourselves, once we've seen how it's done I may yet go down the route of buying one of the edge trick tools and having a go with that.

+1 for this chap. He has waxed and edged my board twice. Very nice chap, running it as a small business on the side, from his shed in the village of Bishopstone. Not too far from the A34.
