The Walserhof or Pizzeria Al Berto are meant to be quite good.

'sfunny. I go there each year but we do half board in Dorf and I have no up-to-date idea of Platz. Upstairs in the Chesa Grischuna is prtetty nice. Also the basement cellar bar for a bit of piano I think but no food in that. A year or six back we ate well up the hill just beyond the Cresta Hotel, on the opposite side. Name gone. The SCGB have a Rep based in Silvretta hotel and that might be a source of info .

The restaurant at the Cresta Hotel is quite a bit cheaper than the other options in the neighbourhood and was decent. The Chesa Grischuna is pricey even by Swiss standards.
The Pizzeria Al Capone is quite reasonable for Switzerland (19 CHF for most pizzas).

Mmmm.....cheap and Klosters.....just googled it and got no results! Tried cheap and CH-land, same again.
The Swiss folk mostly ski in Vorarlberg and Arlberg these days, so you never know they might have some cheap deals going to try to attract the locals back......good luck, went to Davos a few years ago and got fleeced, never been back since. Very pretty though in Klosters must admit, although from memory it smells of a mixture of horse manure and French perfume!

19 CHF for an eat-in pizza is not that different to UK prices. Admittedly, meat dishes are quite a lot pricier than the UK, as is wine in restaurants (wine in supermarkets is cheaper in Switzerland than the UK though, so buy your own and have pre-dinner drinks in your accommodation!)
Also, I don't find Klosters particularly expensive compared to other ski resorts in Switzerland. If anything, it's easier to find reasonable accommodation there than in Flims/Laax or Arosa.

Ich denke auch, dass die 19 CHF von für ein Klosters Restaurant absolut akzeptabel sind. Und gut soll die Pizzeria auch sein, hab ich gehört.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

The only time I stayed there I was half board, but having been to Davos several times by far and away the cheapest way to eat reasonably and affordably was Italian food, so I suspect Pizza may well be your best bet.
