More relevantly for me this year since I'm skipping the Hoff for Ischgl. That almost looks skiable. And before anyone pops up to say it will all be gone by [insert random day here], we know but it still warms the cockles of me heart to see the white stuff on a hill in September

Thought had crossed my mind to go pedal in some snow. But thankfully the sun came out in Bend after work and got in a nice breezy ride while it looked like it was storming in the mountains.

I left Saalbach two days ago (after an 8 week summer sojourn) and the mountain bikers were still gamely pedalling away in the sleet at village level (and snow higher up).
