As the title says, really. The shells seem fine, but one of the liners is damaged. I know I could get new inners for around £90 from Snow Tracks, but I bought a better fitting pair of boots.
Before I bin them, I just wondered if there was somewhere I could send them for recycling; a bit like old shoes to Africa - although I know they are unlikely to want to ski in Nigeria!

I've always put my old boots on Ebay - sometimes been pleasantly surprised at what they've fetched.

Gave my last pair to Barnardo's. They'd left the shop before me; someone grabbed them the moment they hit the counter!

How fortuitous. I was walking past a flatbed belonging to a roofing contractor this afternoon. The rear had a number of pairs of old skiboots in it. Rather incongrous. Then I recalled that I had seen some roofers previously, walking around on a commercial flat roof in the hot sun in just shorts and skiboots. So I assume that they are the favoured footwear for working on hot tar re-roofing jobs. Do you know any roofing contractors?

Have e Bayed all of ours - to finish the Saturday at the end of the London ski show, always got good prices.
When the kids were younger we use to sell theirs each year for more than we paid for them - those were the days!
