www.schulferien.org includes ALL the holiday dates for the Austrian provinces as well as all the other countries. Plus it is way easier to see which of the German States are on holiday at any one time.

It looks to me like Wales are doing half term w/c 18th February. Any other regions going for that date?

@miranda, I've had a couple of enquiries for my apartment for that week already, so it looks like others are too.

What's the view about the weekend of 4 March (and the days either side of it) - how busy will that be? It suits my other plans better than mid-March, but obviously isn't completely clear of the school holidays.

? Appears to be almost no one off that week?
I am targeting the week before. It seems one French group, the largest German group (am I right?) all of the Belgians and half of the Dutch, along with two Austrian groups are on (thanks to our late colleague and missed for that). I am assuming Bayern is a large part of Austria?
Am I right in thinking that would be a pretty bad week then!?!?

You know it makes sense.
|
@8611, the worst weeks in any sense of that are the Paris weeks. All else is bearable. Depends where you are going.
@tripowski, also depends where you are going as the French are most unhappy about weekenders during VSs.

Is that french specific though under a new name, ie do the Parisians tend to impact the french resorts more? I see you've champoluc on your locations and that's one of the places I might target if snow is right, had hoped it would be a bit quieter there?
