@KernowRed, snow looks awesome there. @clarky999, that Montafon video is unreal - do you have any from Japan?
Here's a brief clip of a nice morning I had a few years back in Livigno. Calling it powder might be a bit generous, but this only skiing once a year business is tough going!
@element, thanks! Unfortunately I lost all my Japan (and Kashmir) footage in two successive hard drive failures, apart from one 15 second thing I made for instagram a while back:
Here's a bit of powder on piste in the last couple of weeks, Mayrhofen and the Zillertal as well, still can't believe the snow was that deep on Piste!!

@kat.ryb, they get a really cool angle, but they're also a bit of a ballache if you're riding lifts. You really need a buddy to help you click the pole in/out of the belt at the bottom/top.

These are all amazing videos I love them. That Japan one is insane I wish I could go back there again like I did in 2008. Also can't be leave the on piste Mayrhofen video.
Keep them coming

Can't believe that was on piste! Amazing conditions.
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Last week touring with the dogs and nice steep deep line
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Some of the off-piste seems to have lifts in it
I like seeing real people riding real stuff. Interesting how the snow sounds in some of those. The backpack pole seems to work well for skiers - it gives a similar perspective to a snowboarder with a pole. I like that perspective much more than the "here are my ski tips" view.
Here's mine from earlier this year - first section overcast/trees then sunny/alpine.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Here's one of mine from last year descending the Vallee Noir; a Vallee Blanche variant from the Italian side and my favourite route even topping the Grand Envers for the lack of people on it. Better chance of making fresh tracks here than on any other of the standard routes down the valley. Sorry no music!
Video from a day in La Grave , did have soundtrack to Don Henleys 'Boys of summer' which really seemed to set it up but Utube deleted the sound (bstrds)
just try to hum the tune !
eta some great videos, Problem with helmet cam is the skier is never actually in his/her own video.

@scarbski, That looks like some nice skiing. We're hoping to pop over to La Grave for week in March this season.
MadMountainMan ..Yours and the other videos are making me itch to get away! 1st week of Feb so not long
Japan looks incredible , next yr maybe ? and 'weathercams' still, definitely one for the living room wall !
I had one day in LaGrave with a guide from Serre Chevalier and luck was on my side, snowed the previous day and then the sun shone for us. A day to remember,
Chamonix for the season eh, not jealous at all

Here's one from the last few weeks in BC. 1 minute 9 seconds.
Quite a lot of powder.

Some great lift based powder in Baqueira a few weeks ago. Scott has an unfortunate moment and the footage makes it look as though I (in green) had clipped his tails. There was infact a 'reasonable' distance between us. Honest !
Clip taken by our KABI guide Izzy. Who you can hear laughing.. Almost cost him his tip
