Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bearing in mind how good Ace Meet & Greet at gatwick is, can anyone recommend parking at Manchester?
I used Airparks at Birmingham, and they're hopeless. The muppets left the passenger window open for three days meaning that I came back to a car with snow covering the passenger seat, and the on-board computer telling me that there were 7 instances that triggered the alarm. Now, it's not possible to lock my car and have the windows open, so my car was clearly not "secured", even though it was parked about 20 yards from the office. They, of course, deny all responsibility, saying that they never use the passenger door. I believe that - but there's a button on the driver's door for the passenger window. Muppets.

We fly from Manchester quite a lot as the choice of flights and destinations are well worth the 3½ - 4 hour drive. We have used Manchester for both ski and beach holidays. We use a company called "Airparks Services", Long Marl Drive, Handforth Dean. They are about 15 mins from the airport, but run a courtesy coach. We have never had any problems. We usually pay about £23 for a whole week. You can find them on

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cheers. I used Airparks at Birmingham - never again. That's a good site, though, much better than holidayextras.co.uk.
