Unique moniker, Welcome to
Engelberg is just over 2 hrs direct into the resort by train. You may have to swap trains at Lucern, I'm not sure as I travel from Basel. but the trains times will be linked so its no big wait anyway...
The big lift is about 7 mins walk from the banhof or get the ski bus...!!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Engleberg or Andermatt; Kloster and St Anton if you get up early enough. Also Flim/Lax, but I've not been there...yet

Unique moniker, for a half day, Flumserberg is the easiest place to get to by train. Look at www.rail.ch and enter Unterterzen as your destination.
For a whole day, Graubunden and Central Switzerland are your oyster. I have done a day trip to Arosa before by train (3 hours by train but very scenic and relaxing).
Look at http://www.railaway.ch/Deutsch/snowandrail/index.html for combined rail and lift ticket offers.

Flims/Laax or Davos, either reachable by train, for Flims/Laax change at Chur onto a bus. The whole thing takes about 2 and a half hours I seem to remember. At Chur the bus station is just up the escalator above the train station; buses go about every hour. Enjoy!
