Hi all. 2 of us are heading out to Morzine for a 4 night bender on Saturday. Can anyone recommend some 'go to' bars in the town to "unwind"??? Ta, Dom.

Meh - all those are a bit tripper. Cafe Chaud is very good and popular with seasonaires, as is Paradis (under the Rude Lodge). Beanies is good when they have a live band on (normally friday nights). Bec Jaune is good for food and beer - not apres, Cavern is very popular with visitors. Happy hours also very popular for wednesday and sunday apres at Ardent.

Cool, thanks. Suppose we're looking for somewhere lively for aprés/evening time where we're not going to pay extortionate prices. BTW, might be showing my age here but what does 'a bit tripper' mean?!!!!

What's the bar that sells mad beer in halfs by the old couple .. they always shut at 8 or something regardless of sales.. brilliantly French style
